Career

He started windsurfing at the age of 5 under the influence of his father, who was a professional athlete at the time. He started seriously competing in competitions when he was in the middle grades of elementary school. In a speed race, he won the junior youth championship in the upper grade category as a 6th grade elementary school student. In the junior high school division, first and third year students won first place. He has won many championships in competitions with adults such as the Motosuko Championship and the Miho Cup.

In wave performance, which he has been practicing in waves since the second year of middle school, he won the 2016 JWA Japan Tour wave first round COLD BREEZE and became the youngest professional to qualify. The following year, he began competing in world tournaments in earnest.
